Since 1990 Treasure Valley Hearing & Balance has served the auditory needs of Boise and beyond. Since then we added offices in Meridian and Nampa as well as outreach clinics in Emmett (at Walter Knox Hospital), in Weiser and in Cascade.
Presenting Treasure Valley Hearing's Signature Program: Better Hearing Plan
The Better Hearing Plan highlights our commitment to hearing health in our community. The Better Hearing Plan is an employee benefit plan and is offered as an exclusive service for companies and families to provide hearing healthcare services.
Award-winning care - Both organization-wide and as individuals
We are proud to serve our community and pleased that residents have nominated us for various awards over the years. Recently our own Jacquie Elcox was named as a 2017 Finalist as Woman of the Year. Also in 2017 she received special recongition from the Meridian Chamber of Commerce for outstanding business practices and commitment to the community. She was also honored as an Action Coach in 2013 for Team Development. In 2012 she received a High Achievement Provider award from Audigy Group. In addition, Jacquie received an honorable mention in the 2011 Hearing Professional of the Year Western Region ceremony.
Our Schedule and events coordinator, Deborah Page, has received numerous awards for outstanding first impression, including 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
As an organization, Treasure Valley Hearing & Balance is humbled to have received accolaides. Our clinics received special recongition by the Meridian Chamber of Commerce for outstanding business practices. We also received the Honoree of the Better Business Bureau honors program "Integrity Counts!" award in 2011.
Outreach at home and abroad
More than just our work, providing hearing care is our passion and our mission. Since 2011 we have provided auditory tests, hearing aids and service to developing countries, including people in Honduras, Peru and Mexico. These are life-altering experiences that give even greater meaning to our work, and help us be extra compassionate for those needing hearing care here in Idaho.
There are many ways to serve the community. Every year we work with various local and national service organizations, including:
Auditory Advocacy: City and State Proclamations
Each spring we support our community by bringing public awareness on hearing loss and tinnitus. This includes advocating for public Proclamations declaring May 2012 for Better Hearing Month and May 13-19, 2012 as Tinnitus Awareness Week. In 2012 the Mayors of the cities of Boise, Eagle and Nampa all signed local Proclamations and Governor Butch Otter signed a State of Idaho Proclamation. Thank you to our local leadership for championing hearing health.
