More Natural Sound Quality
AGX7 technology is based on an advanced understanding of how the human ear works. It features patented technology that processes sounds in smaller, more exact increments called channels. By processing sound in independent channels, AGX7 is able to better approximate the workings of the inner ear. Your AudigyCertified™ professional can program each of these channels to help minimize the perception of Sound Voids. Think of it as having the greater range and accuracy of a graphic equalizer, rather than a limited volume, treble or bass control.
Noise Reduction
Noise is unavoidable, but it shouldn’t be overwhelming AGX7’s Noise Reduction Technology reduces distracting background sounds, both quiet and loud, that make it so difficult to communicate using less advanced hearing systems. Noise Reduction Technology includes two key elements: Gain Dependent Expansion and Adaptive Noise Reduction. These technologies work together to limit the amount of noise you hear, so that important sounds (such as speech) are not overpowered.
Automatic Directionality
The advanced technology employed in Automatic Direction ality allows you to concentrate on the sounds that are in front of you, while turning down the sounds from the sides and back that make it difficult to communicate.
