Hearing aids are not “one-size-fits-all” products, and Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance Clinic understands that. In fact, their real work begins after you go home with the product. Thorough and customer focused, they take the time to follow up and make sure that the product I have works well for me.

Music is an important part of my life. I have my iPod on when I work out, when I’m studying—almost all the time. iPod plugs make my music sound better. They’re comfortable to wear and they don’t fall out like my old plugs did. And when I’m studying, people around can’t hear my music.

My dad had been a patient of Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance Center, so when I needed to get help with my own hearing, there was only one place I wanted to go. Their service is terrific—whether you have a problem with your hearing aids or you just think you have a problem, they’re always happy to get you in and taken care of.

Twenty-three years in the military and nearly thirty years as an auctioneer did some damage to my hearing. When I went to Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance Center, I knew right away that they cared about me and my hearing. Through the process of getting tested and fitted for hearing aids, they demonstrated integrity and loyalty. Being an auctioneer, I spent a lot of time working with a PA system. Finding a hearing aid suitable for this type of work was a challenge, but they worked diligently until they found a solution that worked! Because of their loyalty to me, I have recommended dozens of acquaintances to Jacquie and her team.

I’ll admit it—I didn’t want hearing aids because of the way they I thought they’d look! Jacquie finally got me to come in, and she showed me all of the contemporary, discreet styles available. I took home my first pair about ten years ago, and I’ve been wearing them ever since! I can’t believe how well they’ve been able to keep up with me—between my day job that involves a lot of meetings and phone calls, and my favorite pastimes of golf and riding my Harley. They’re so comfortable that I even forget I have them on!

Anyone can sell hearing aids—and a lot of people do. A high standard of service sets Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance Clinic apart. Hearing loss is different for everybody, and they take the time to get to know you and your individual needs. I’ve been to other companies that were only interested in selling hearing aids. When I first met Jacquie over 10 years ago, she showed a real concern about me, and my hearing loss. She has instilled that concern in her entire staff. They’re there to take care of you; they’re there to serve you.

When my hearing started to get really bad both at home and work, I knew I needed help. I was hesitant, however, because I thought I was too young to have a hearing aid. I had heard friends talk about Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance Clinic, so I made an appointment—and I’m glad I did. All of the staff members and audiologists made me feel extremely comfortable. They took their time with me, listening and explaining every step of the way. I left with a whole different image of hearing aids—along with a new ability to hear. It has made a major difference in my life – both at home and in my professional life. The experience was truly a blessing.

At the beginning, one of my aids didn’t fit right. But my comfort was important to Jacquie and her team—and they stuck with me until I had a fit I was happy with. In fact, I was so happy with my experience that I have recommended Treasure Valley Hearing and Balance Clinic to several people I know, and all of these people have been just as pleased!
